WILDWING ARCHIVES creator Renée Meiffren is an artist (dancer, illustrator) and researcher (dance historian, thanachoreologist) who lives in the Pacific Northwest. She is a Presidential Scholar in the Arts who danced professionally with Béjart Ballet Lausanne and other dance companies before diving fully into teaching ballet. Renée has achieved full advanced certification in American Ballet Theatre’s National Training Curriculum. She owned Rose City Ballet School for many years (Warmth. Excellence. Diversity.) during which time she completed (with honors) a Master’s Degree from New York University in Dance Education: Ballet Pedagogy. She passionately explores the many ways dance, ballet specifically, shines light on the intricacies of the human heart.
